BMW OBC Test 2 (Redone)

I took out my DV Camera for it this time, it's a much better quality vid.

Here's some general information about it:

This is my 2001 e39 BMW 520i, 2.2L I6, ~170bhp and its done ~70,000kms. Bought at 65,000kms.

(Disregard the fact it says 540, it works on all e39 models, obviously). For the e39 community: Do try these yourself, they can tell you a lot about your BMW.

Yo, I have a 1993 e31 bmw 850 5.0 v12 and wondered if you know if this will work on mine as all my dials have stopped working but still have a few lights working on the dash. Thanks

With the older style dash all you have to do is:

1. hold the "reset trip" button for 10 sec and the display will go all wierd

2.when you press the button after the screen looks like this you will notice that the number on the right progresses 1-24.

3. Select option 2 and wait until a zero appears next to it, then press the button a final time and it will do the test.
