I was only in the sixth grade when I saw Miss Saigon here in Philippines and it was one of my best moments in life.

@LSGleeky24 ...This is what tragedy is about...Ellen is is in this love triangle, but none of the persons involved in it are really intentionally @ fault. None of them deserves to die...if only Kim did not rush in to conclusion that Tam's future will no longer be what she dreamed for him because his dad is already married...she would still be alive..@ any rate that is beside the point..the emphasis of this musical is how great a mother's love for her son is & what she is prepared to do for him.

How traumatic for a child to see his mother killing herself with his father's gun...and his mom even asking him not to forget what he sees. Miss Saigon, along with Les Mis are 2 of my favorite musicals of all time.
