@Kiwidanny the mall is very close to the immigration area when you arrive from Hong Kong. I got here by catching a train to the border, then getting a chinese day visa and walking into the country.

When I went to Shenzhen, I didn't go shopping much but the people were friendly, many people chatting and wanting to have a photo taken with me, but as always use common sense and keep your wits for shadies!

it's called commercial city. If you take the MTR to Lo Wu, cross immigration, and just head out, it is right there, sales people will be around to try to take you to their stalls, you can follow one.
