Another of Hannah Fury's songs based on the novel "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. As always, Ms. Fury can be found at http://www.mellowtraumatic.com . "Wicked" can be found (probably) at your local bookstore or library. You should read it, since if you haven't, this wonderful song will make little or no sense.

  • @LittleSweetNightmare :: I always interpreted it as the conflict between how the wold sees Elphie and how she sees herself. But that's just me.

  • Torrinne that was just awesome!I love the font and the color and you timed it all perfectly. That is such a beautiful song. I have tried and tried to figure out who it is singing the line "Girl with green oily skin she ends where I begin". It doesn't seem like it could be Glinda. Is it Hannah herself or maybe just the voice of all of us that loved Elphaba?

  • Oh wow 0o a Wicked Fansong, I had no idea Hanah Fury did this sort of thing XD

I'm not a major fan of Wicked (or atleast the musical version of Wicked, it provokes too much Dorothy bashing from fans and pretty much screwed over my favorite Oz characters DX) but I do like this song X3

  • @LittleSweetNightmare so do i

i cannot watching wizard of oz without wanting to puke i love wicked so much (book and musical)

  • much love for this song! :D

To the poster below, I was thinking that perhaps Hannah's conveying the thoughts of fiyero in that line (where she ends and where I begin... sounds kinda relationship-y if you see what I mean)

but then the bit after that about dorothy doesn't make sense

gawd I hate dorothy since reading wicked...

    I should stop rambling now!

  • I love this so much!

  • I love this <3

  • Repetitive but good.
