They need to be making another Stu Ungar movie, with a much bigger budget, and with an actor that actually resembles the the Man that the friggin' movie is about.

i have never seen such a miscast, they should have scotty nguyen playing this part (without the mullet that is) and then you have the looks & charisma & poker cred.

Michael Imperioli is a great actor but this was an average film. The screenplay didn't really capture what Stu Ungar was about and didn't allow Michael to even touch upon the mad genius he undoubtedly was.

They should have made the book about Stuey "One Of A Kind" into a movie, not High Roller. That would have won some acadamy awards. This was very low budget and not very accurate, but as a fan of Stuey, I have seen it 6 times. It does get better each time, but you have to be a Stuey/poker fan to enjoy it. They wanted Johnny Depp for "One Of A Kind" back in 2005, who would have rocked the part. RIP Stu.
