Nice! This happens all the time and it feels a lot scarier than it looks on your video!

That-AEROS-was- AEROS- a very-AEROS- short and-AEROS- non-eventful AEROS -video. I wonder-AEROS- if his underwear-AEROS- also says- AEROS- all over -AEROS- it!??!

@210482fmj You need to take off into the wind, but once in the air, you can fly to wherever direction you please. During flight the glider does not experience crosswind trhough the sail, it only perceives the crosswind as drift over the ground but the actual wind is traveling across the sail as it was headwind all the time. So wings will remain level until there's a wind speed differential between the two wings. On the landing, you usually have extra speed for this matter when setting approach.

ups :)

Do hang glider have to be flown into a direct headwind in order to fly with wings level? In a cross wind will it cause the upwind wing to lift up? ALso if a head wind suddenly stops on landing do you have enough speed to make up for the immediate loss of airspeed if the wind suddenly stops blowing on landing.
