is that a skitarii at 3:07? i'm currently reading it and Dan is a great author. I'm enjoying this book and enjoyed reading the two Gaunt's Ghost omnibus'; The Founding & The Saint.... just need to find The Lost.

Skitarii are the ground soldiers of the Mechanicus and consist of heavily modified corps of troops. Usually having genetic material of other species even to make them stronger and faster, along with the mechanical implants of the Mechanicus, almost to the point of being more beast than man. The modifications made on skitarii can be anything from an almost fully mechanical body to almost looking like a heavy battle servitor with quadruped legs and heavy weapon mounts.

@lordofvampirefaith As far as lore goes titan weapons unless those wielded by an Emperor Class Titan cannot fire into space. Basically the farther the shot the less energy it will have when it meets its target. And having to escape the planets gravity and so on. There are on the otherhand weapons that can be fired into space or can be leveled against a planet. A Nova cannon for instance fires a slug the size of a two story building and takes hundreds of slaves to load and fire.

@k1ll1ngJ0k3 Aye like a rapid strike ship, still a ship thought ^_^ I didnt mean a battlebarge or grand cruiser size ship, becuase then even an Imperator would still be basically the equivalent of on-board weapon systems like lances, ect.

@lordofvampirefaith you cant kill ships with titans, you could hurt them if theyre in low orbit, but even then only the smaller ones, and the guns dont have the elevation necessary to target them anyway. sorry.
