Comrade Taimur Rahman performed a guitar-only version of his group's popular song May Nay Uss Say Yeh Kaha (This Is What I Said To Him). It is said that a genuine protest movement has a culture of singing and merriment that is unique to it. If so, then no songs could have done the job that day like those of Laal! Even though Comrade Taimur is not the vocalist of the group, he sang the song to rejuvenate the spirits of the rally participants who had slowed down as if to luxuriate in the message of this song. Bystanders intrigued by the rally too enjoyed the impromptu performance.
