Mercury Thunderbolt 115 outboard for sale on ebay

Merc 115 outboard on kona boat for sale on ebay. Motor has even compression and runs like a champ, starts at the first twist of the key and is $899 and comes with all wiring and cables down to steering wheel and guages.. for $1500, engine comes with boat set up as is, and includes delivery on the west coast. I ran it out of lower unit oil, it comes with, it's just froze and busted. 21 pitch prop included along with skis, knee board and tubes. Thanks for looking

still runs like a champ. The motor was revved early upon start up on a cold start . Boat has a temp guage with alarm to notify of possible blockage in cooling system or faulty impeller. Impeller will burn up within 10 seconds as it's rubber against steel at same engine rpm but a cold engine can withstand what it was put through with no problem. Would I do it on a regular basis? No. Did this hurt it? No

the impeller (water pump) that is on the lower unit that isn't on the motor in the video got burned up? It was in the glovebox during the video and is still new and in good condition. Thanks for the concern though

Wow, this thing must not be good anymore. Should not rev them up like that with no water running through engine

i mean ya running it without water for 15 second but u just fuckin pissed me off for runnig it that long ITS A FUCKIN LIQUID COOLED(COOLED) engine

you just burned the Impeller up (Water Pump) By doing that with no water
