Nice! I'll be there next weekend!

I have gone jeeping all over Island of the Sky and Needles but never the Maze. Looks like I have been missing a beautiful area. Thanks for showing me.

Must have changed the music to 1000 Reels. This video is fantastic. I want to go to Canyonlands because of Edward Abbey.

Is the road in the beginning called "The Teapot?"

It's actually called the Flint Trail, as far as I know, but it does go by Teapot Rock.

I came here looking for video of the maze district (trying to judge how well my Aptera will do on the roads), and left with a new song I'm in love with. Thanks! :)

Yeah, it's pretty cool music. Make sure you don't believe the end title, where it says that the music is Silversun Pickups, because I had to change it to "free" music online here. The new song is "1000 Reels" by The Timeout Drawer.
Good stuff.

Beautiful! What time of year did you go? Going to Escalante end of this month, any suggestions?

Thanks! This trip was at the end of April '07. In October I did a trip into the Escalante area. (I'll be in the Cedar Mesa area at the end of this month, myself.)
All depends what you want to do, of course. Off the Hole in the Rock Road, I did a loop hike through Coyote Gulch, and some exploring in Peek-A-Boo and Spooky Gulches. Hiked up to Lower Calf Creek Falls, off Hwy 12, as well. All very worthwhile.
