  • Just watched your fall off of Jack..My god you were ok after???? Jack has a lovely free jump, he look's like he's come along way..Can I give you a hint though..Wait for him to lift over the jump before you move..In this vid. you look like your trying to jump before the horse..Please take this as helpfull advice. I'm not trying to sound like a no-it-all..Once again just love your horse.

  • Yeah, it's ok though. I was horrible about getting ahead. Believe me, a lot of no stirrup work and riding other horses fixed that so now I don't lunge out of the saddle too quickly. That's the main reason I used to fall off. But I was fine when I fell off in my video. Just a rolled ankle. I was back in the saddle like 2 days later.

  • hey -- great! my tennessee walker and I are beginning to jump also! have you compete yet? do you think its pretty hard with a twh or not ?

  • Yeah, I've competed with Jack. We did a BN horse trial in october and got 5th place out of 17!! It is difficult, but it's so rewarding!

  • its me agian! = ) just letting uno lady (my tnwalker) is now cantering groudpoles and doing great!!!

    if u wanna talk more i'll give u my email = )

  • that's great! keep it up, i know you'll get her doing it! just be consitent, walkers are smart and try to get away with stuff, but she'll do it if you work together!!
