The Church of Jesus Christ. What church should I go to? What do I make of all these denominations that exist? Whom should my Loyalty be to? Does quoting verses from the bible, deciding on the right pattern, assumption ensure that Jesus is present in the Church? Zac Poonen provides insight into the call to overcome, the person to whom God will look for, the call to get out of dead establishments that can only talk of God but is just dead doctrine. Jesus has left the church..Do you want to stay on?

  • Cool! you see all likes. No dislike. That's what I'm talking about.

  • I don't believe in denominations either. I used to be affiliated with 2 of them in my life and God has revealed to me that it was deception. The TRUTH must be preached in the church you attend, and a real church of Jesus will NOT subscribe to the system of denominations.

  • I am a member of a Baptist church but I too realized some years ago that that means NOTHING! It is my name written in the Lambs book of life that matters! I am a citizen of Heaven! I am in Christ!

  • I took my names of the SDA church but still attend cause this is how I felt as well. VERY VERY well said I have to show this to my parents!!!

  • @willy87see "i am penticostal myself, as that is where the lord has placed me" More likely you simply chose to place yourself there. "Why cant everyone allow his word, to speak into there hearts" And if they did, they'd never wind up as Pentecostals because the WORD never mentions such a thing. In fact, as far as the Bible is concerned, there is no such thing as a Pentecostal church.

  • @belovedgirltoHim only if all could allow the lord to speak into there heart as you have, i am penticostal myself, as that is where the lord has placed me, why cant everyone allow his word, to speak into there hearts, inturn allowing him to bless, change, and beauitify there lives, aswell as placing them in the church that he wishes for them to be, this is a question that seems like shouldnt have to even be asked, prasie, goly, and honor to the king, and pray for those

  • I will always go to where I see the most fruit bearing. If the leader does not talk about sin, righteousness, or judgement and if the leader does not have a heart for the lost, the church is considered dead in God's eyes, why would I even think about going there?

Yes, the Lord brings me to those that can properly disciple me.

  • this brother says it so well

the holy spirit speaks through him

    praise the name of jesus

  • I am very blessed to have had God chose the church I attend. That way there is no confusion on where I should attend. The church God drew me to is an Assembly of God Church but I was none the wiser about denominations and what they believed. I never went to church before 4 yrs ago. God's presence is very much a part of every service but I don't consider myself penticostal I just love Jesus and worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

  • Amen! Praise God for this teaching. JESUS is Lord!
