@zed989 A bit late but heres my opinion
I've riden this bike once when my friend let me:
It is extremely good for cornering
It absorbs every single bump
And just generally feels really nice
For freeride...
I'd say it sure could but just remember that
The low bottom bracket for cornering is not ideal for freeride
