When you said the word 'ruins' it sounded to me like 'rinds' which immediately made me think of pork rinds. Now I'm hungry.
Your organization method is a lot neater than mine. I just stack the pieces in the original Master Set 1 box, I put the fortress pieces in their box, and then stick them in my closet. My figures go in two bags, one for heroes and one for squads and the cards. Those bags then sit on a shelf on my bedroom wall.

@TimmyTheNerd There was one special year in germany, when it was raining only at thursday. I never went out at thursdays. This sounds crazy, but it's true.
If you listen to the song of Albert Hammond by raining weather you will think: What a stupid song. But the song is still nice, but it doesn't tell the truth. :-)

Sadly, no. It rains and some places even get snow. Infact, it rain the entire month of December last year.

@myheroscape20 Yes, we many laws about dogs in germany. You always have to carry a plastic-bag with you, because if the dog takes a shit outside you have to put the shit into the bag and carry it with you home. This is one of stupid laws. The rest I will tell you pn.
