Maher was correct. Faith is belief without evidence. Religious claims can't be proven, that's why theists rely on faith.

No, because 2+2=4 is a known fact, and can be proven with objects. But Mel Gibson's comment on belief is faith, and cannot be proven. That makes him and other religious zealots arrogant.

That's right. If you believe in a made up thing like God and Jesus and angels and fairies and ghosts and goblins, it's OK. If you tell someone they're made up things...they will kill you.
