Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich - It's so hard to love you 1967

You walk right by
head held so high
can´t you see why
it's so hard to love you
it's so hard to love you

Nights are lonely
You don't phone me
Just to show me
it's so hard to love you
It's so hard to love you
it's so hard to be your kind of guy
But I'll try, and I'll try, and I'll try.

Must this go on
it's been so long
You know you´re wrong
it's so hard to love you
it's so hard to love you
it's so hard to be your kind of guy
But I'll try, and I'll try, and I'll try.

(Instrumental)

You turn up late
so should I wait
You don't talk straight
it's so hard to love you
It's so hard to love you

You walk right by
head held so high
can´t you see why
it's so hard to love you
it's so hard to love you
it's so hard to be your kind of guy
But I'll try, and I'll try, and I'll try.

  • An unbelievable performance by one of, if not the greatest British Beat groups ever. Fronted by the great Dave Dee,who I would put alongside Freddie Mercury as the greatest front men ever,

We will never see his like again.

When you look at the shower who inhabit the charts nowadays.................................!!!!!

  • Apparently the song was originally called simply It's So Hard, but this was thought too suggestive by the record company in 1966.

  • Love that bass line :)

  • @yrrabyllos6 Ha ha ha..no way.

  • I saw the band twice, the first time at Bolton in 1967 and the second time at Blackburn a couple of years before Dave died. Fortunately I was able to be introduced to the band and founmd them all amazing. Apart from the Beatles DDDBM&T were the best live band I ever saw, and over the years I've seen many. Some great records and this is one of my favourites. We used to play it in a band I was in in the 60's named Beau Nash. I particularly enjoy this track, Zabadak and Xanadu.

  • @moxie96 agreed on the other he was probably the justin beebler of his day

  • and people like justin beebler (name mispelled on purpose) over any of the brilliant bands like ddbmt? insane world. No new pop song can be as good as this and dave dee such a amazing man and still had it to his very last performance.

  • Damn! this is a fucking awesome British group.

  • Great sexy catchy song like so many of theirs.

  • r.i.p dave we all love.ed you xxxx
