This is Lifeson bullshiting on the guitar, he is not playing anything he wrote. It's just practice, not "hope." Incredible.

When I first heard Alex Lifeson's playing, I didn't think much of it. I thought it very normal for a skilled rock guitarist like many were in the 70's and 80's.
Then I heard La Villa Strangiato. I am an asshole for having underestimated this man so gravely.
