Sounds Of Mercury. Pretty Creepy Sounds.

Just so you all understand, I know that sound cannot travel through space due to it being a vacuum and all I got that already. These sounds were captured from an orbiting satellite from back in 1999 - 2001 I think. I am not certain on the years exactly. From what I can understand the orbiting satellites have remote censors on them that can translate the radio like frequencies coming off of Mercury so we are able t hear them. Anyways, I thought this sounded a little bit creepy, Hope you enjoy!

@hommedterre1 Could you imagine the impact of the sun's impact on Mercury's magnetosphere? Yes, it does have one, barely though.

Compareed to the "sounds" of Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Earth and the Sun -Mecury's radiowaves sounds absolutely strange.

So couldn't we say it's also the sounds of waves from the rest of the universe wrapping around and bouncing off mercury?

@4M1000 Mercury does have an atmosphere, just a very, very thin one.

@4M1000 actually there is wind on mercury... its just the solar wind that is.
