AGL is a company that has been doing and leading the way for 170 years. The world is changed by doers.

In 2008 AGL launched the Energy in action campaign, the goal being to demonstrate the important work AGL is doing by building renewable energy projects to provide customers with cleaner energy options.

In 2009, AGL is building on this work with the World is changed by doers campaign. This time we communicate three important facts.

- AGL has been doing things better, since we lit the first gas street lights in Australia.
- In addition to core energy services gas and electricity the wider AGL network provides expertise and advice on appliances, energy efficiency and solar solutions for the home and business.
- As well, AGL is taking action to lead the way with investment in large-scale renewable energy projects.

The soundtrack for the television commercial is by the band Apples in Stereo and the name of the song is Energy. This is the same song used in the initial Energy in Action launch television commercial and has been used around AGL in a number of different ways since 2008
