RS 4 Noobs - How *Not* To Kill Nomad

Haven't done one of these since MineCraft. This is my how NOT to attempt the Nomad's Requiem boss fight at end of quest. Showing my many failed attempts to a final victory at long last!

When I took on the challenge of earning my quest cape - I already heard stories of how hard Nomad is. I got discouraged and lost hope, resorted back to skilling capes for a while. Something I'm good at because it doesn't actually require any skill (despite the name) but rather time and devotion to endure repetition.

Amber encouraged me to try. She helped keep my hopes high. Rather than only thinking about what I can't do before actually giving it a try. She was my inspiration to keep going. 5+ quests a day and not slack off or relent.

I had the worst luck out of anybody on RuneScape. I never lagged during the 2 days attempting this quest. I've gathered suggestions and feedback from over 5 chats and researched everything from SoSolid2k and RS Wiki. All of which gave the WRONG methods that no matter what I tried never seems to make it past that last 1/5 of Nomad's 2nd health bar.

Forget the Kyatts of RS Wiki and BGS to lower Nomad's defense. Forget SoSolid2k saying the only way to beat Nomad is with every 99 (Iron Titan and best items that cost way too much).

It took me 2 days, 32 tries, and 8m lost on repairs/food/potions/summons to learn the true method even with my low 81 range/summon. Pack a War Tortoise full of Sara Brews, Bring 10 Super Restores, 1 Overload, the rest Sara Brews. Drink the Overload first - 2 sips Sara Brew - 1 sip Super Restore to boost your stats back to overload status. Range the hell outa it from start to finish using Ruby Bolts (e). Switching between Accurate at start, and Rapid when he goes close combat. You DON'T need to hide behind pillars as RS Wiki suggests (this only gives Nomad full health). You also don't need to even hide while he splits into 4 or drains you with magic.

If you're wearing full Black D'hide armor and got your curses set he won't be hitting as hard by 2 minutes into the fight. Soul Split, Leech Strength, Leech Magic, Leech Range. These will drain his damage of melee/magic while boosting your range high enough to bypass his defense level.

Simple. Done. You don't need a max account like SoSolid to beat this. Simply decent range/summon along with high prayer/herb will do the trick.

Big thanks to Mr Cammybear for giving the correct advice/method. I could have never done this quest without your help. And I nearly rage quitted the game both these days of pure hell.

I refuse to fight him in Dominion Tower until after I max out all stats so I can breeze through it with ease. Not even Pest Queen was annoying as doing this one single quest...

im 80 attack 94 str and 70 defence no overloads piety pride and owned nomad, u fail bro

overloads.turmoil. 90+ melee combat stats. and you decide to range. you think gano is has low melee defence.

I did nomad with a terror bird and 71 range it isn't that hard...
