Week 10: Cardinal Mooney 28, Bishop Watterson 0

Game synopsis:

Youngstown Cardinal Mooney showed why they are ranked in the nation, by dismantling Bishop Watterson 28-0. Both defenses were stubborn in the opening minutes of the game, neither allowing the Offenses to do much. Mooney pounded the ball straight up the middle with Brandon Beachum and Mike Zordich. They finally broke the Eagles will, and both Dan McCarthy and Mike Zordich scored a pair of touchdowns. Watterson had several opportunities due in part to several turnovers, but the stout Mooney defense held. This was a must win for the Eagles, the loss will keep Watterson out of the playoffs.
