  • there are alot of peeps that aint ready for this tune, this tune is a personal. well made and well thought of. i can garentee that when them 2 brothers made this track they were very very stoned. big up hidden agenda.

  • I knew Jason & Mark from my days studying HND Studio Engineering at Newcastle Music School. After a night out at the Arena where they were both Dj'ing we drove back to Gateshead to the bro's flat. I got to hear this track as it was being made in their small home studio. Using a small mixer, Akai S950, Atari ST, Alesis EFX and a monitoring system that they had built and tuned themselves. On such a tight budget and small system this tune is Awesome! Its breakbeat at its finest. PERFECT! TIMELESS!

  • @howincrediblyshit the more people try to pin down a genre, the more commercial it gets... people rush to live up to expectations of what said genre should be rather than making interesting music that pushes the boundaries. checked out dev/null, nice stuff.

  • @deejayalemus To be fair, nobody really makes breakcore anymore. But when its good, its fantastic and when its not, its a pile of shit. Very little middle-ground. I just prefer the noisier hectic stuff like Dev/Null but thats far detached from tunes like this.

  • @howincrediblyshit I wholeheartedly agree. Navigating dubstep is a chore for this very reason; every kid with a laptop is pumping the stuff out. I trend towards the earlier stuff like DHR records and guys like Kid606, Bong Ra, Shitmat or Venetian Snares personally.

  • PS This is fantastic.

  • @deejayalemus Agreed - except you might have to wade through quite a bit of shit to get to the gold when exploring the murky waters of breakcore.

  • I wonder when it was that drum and bass producers stopped trying to make complex breakdowns and drum patterns... it seems like breakcore producers are the only ones trying anymore.

  • where are they now dudes..such earnest guys

  • quantizing sucks dude

  • notice how close and "real" the amens sound !?? .. real as in "propper " . tidy qauntizing throughout
