From the Dutch Knife Exhibition 2010 (DKE 2010) we have a look at the creations of 3 talented Belgian custom knife makers:
- Filip De Coene (custombladeworks) of whom I previously discussed his "Mini Explorer" and "Arrow 2";
- Filip De Leeuw (deviantblades) of whom I previously discussed a modern friction folder that's inspired by the classic curved chinese folder design;
- Jan Dox whose blades are often inspired by classic Japanese designs.
We end this video with a quick look at a clever small Kiridashi by Jan Dox.

  • Filip de Leeuw is certainly from the school of Bob Lum! Those blade shapes are very evocative of that design master

  • Good video. I am a fan of Jan Dox and like his Japanese style knives. My knife lies there still on his table. I must have passed after you.

  • genius !
