What f? the whole Psychedelic genre relies on exotic instrument, and mainly Indian Instruments, and most notably the Sitar.

rofl. it's a frickin sitar, they were never made to play rock. There are some rock songs with Sitar in them, though. Some Led Zeppelin stuff, some Beatles stuff. Music written for Sitar is cool enough on in and of itself.
