I play this song in Eb Cm Fm G7
I do this by placing a capo at the third fret and playing C Am Dm E7

(Am) (C) Get you a copper kettle
Get you a copper coil
Cover with new made (Am) corn mash
and (Dm) never more you'll toil
You just (Am) lay there by the juniper
While the moon is bright
Watch those jugs a (Dm) filling
(E7) In the pale moon (Am) light

(C) My daddy he made whiskey
My grand daddy did too
We ain't paid no (Am) whiskey tax
Since (Dm) seventeen ninety-two
We just (Am) lay there by the juniper
While the moon is bright
Watch those jugs a (Dm) filling
(E7) In the pale moon (Am) light

(C) Build your fire with hickory
Hickory, ash and oak
Don't use no green nor (Am) rotten wood
They'll (Dm) get you by the smoke
You just (Am) lay there by the juniper
While the moon is bright
Watch those jugs a (Dm) filling
(E7) In the pale moon (Am) light

(C) Get you a copper kettle
Get you a copper coil
Cover with new made (Am) corn mash
and (Dm) never more you'll toil
You just (Am) lay there by the juniper
While the moon is bright
Watch those jugs a (Dm) filling
(E7) In the pale moon (Am) light
