Stop the Food Police

The food police are on a march around the country. Elected officials and health czars have waged a war to control what we eat by hitting us where it hurts most...our wallets.

In New York, the ban on bake sales hurts our children's fundraising efforts. The proposed tax on beverages forces us to pay even more at the checkout counter. And a proposed bill criminalizing salt threatens to cripple our restaurants. And there is discussion in other states and at the federal level to follow their lead.

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is pursuing a sweeping sodium reduction campaign that makes NYC residents test subjects in a bureaucratic agenda not based on sound science, but on political science and alarmism.

And NYC officials are working to impose their ideas across the country by pressuring food companies to give in to their demands. In fact, they are so bold as to call their NYC sodium reduction campaign a "Nationwide" sodium reduction campaign.

Political administrations need to hear from the people: It's my food. My choice.

Not only is he working hard everyday to ban salt, he also banned trans fat used in baking and 0-nicotine vaping used by people trying to quit smoking!!

Now he's trying to ban Vitamin 1000 mg C tablets.

Glad I left New York 2 year ago!!! I can still enjoy all of the above mentioned ingredients without the NY Food Nazi arresting and fining me thousands of dollars under threat of arrest and/or Federal imprisonment.
