  • ummm....fabulous as usual...

  • No ur fabulous ! ;)

  • Does it have to be black paint gary?

Also love the idea of the paint chips I am always collecting them just because i get attracted by all that colour. Right off to buy me some door mats. Just thought... you could use those plastic(tacky) doilies that you get in the cheap bargain shops as well. I am looking at stuff with new eyes. Everything is now a stencil or a bit of collage.

Oh also before I go what basic spray paint colours would you recommend if I had to get only 3 or 4.

  • Yes doilies work a treat too! I haven't experimented using other colours besides back to get the bubbles so i can't tell you but i can't see why it wouldn't work, i might experiment with a variety of different colours to see what works best.

  • Now the colours i recommend if fire engine red (or just plain red if u can't get it...but a more orangy red), Taxi yellow and blue RAL...if u can get it but if not just a blue with a certain amount of green in it...And u also need a matt white and a black can too...so basically all the primary colours and black and white...cause from there u can blend the colours!

  • You constantly amaze me. I want to live in your brain for just a day!

  • Only for a day? LOL

  • how long does a can of spray paint last? is it expensive?

  • ive been doing the water drop effect on signs for some clients in my signwriting business for over 15 years. i even spray it onto vinyl and cut lettering and graphics out of it. * you can get a far better effect if you spray a light colour from the opposite side after you spray the dark paint on (and use on more of an angle). letting it dry takes too long for me so i use a heat gun to evaporate the water, then i spray clear varnish over the top, otherwise the paint can lift up sometimes.
