Devon pulls up 2 the beach, 'wow, its so pretty 2nite' gets out & walks along sand, shoes in hand, stops @ the cazeebo 'aw, Joe must've planned all this out' sits down & sees a little note on the basket 'do u like the picnic? luv Joe' Devon read out loud. 'well, if u were here, i could tell u' sees an arrow on note, saying 2 flip it over 'then turn around' she read, then turned around '-gasp-' and saw Joe standing in the sand behind her. 'so, do u like the picnic?' Joe asked Devon smiled and said 'yes i love it' 'well ur gonna love it even more, open the basket,' Joe said. Devon turned around, picked up the basket, and brought out a little box 'wats this?' Devon asked Joe smiled and said 'open it 2 find out' 'Joseph, if its more expensive jewelry tht u spent on me im gonna-gasp-' Devon started 2 say, then she looked from the ring, put her hand across her chest, & looked @ Joe, 'its beautiful' Devon said barely above a whisper 'it may've been expensive, but it was worth it' Joe smiled Devon smiled & started 2 tear up 'isnt there a ? u want 2 ask me?' 'if i had the ring, yea,' Joe said and they laughed a little as Devon handed Joe the ring, once he had it, he got down on 1 knee in the sand infront of Devon & held out the ring infront of him 'Devon Marie Anderson, will u marry me?' Joe said 'yes!!' Devon started crying. she hugged Joe, kissed him and cried again as Joe slid the ring on her finger. Devon huggded Joe and said 'im so happy' 'me 2' Joe said smiling 'lets go home' Devon smiled & nodded & said 'yea, lets go home' Joe smiled 2 and picked Devon up & carried her 2 the car and drove home. Devon couldnt wait 2 tell Manda & Demi, though she thought they probably already new.
