Besides that, to just assume that being a stoner or being stoned makes you stupid is completely irrational and stupid in itself and to that I say you can get all kinds of fucked.

this is garbage.. i love the ataris but this album is horrible..how people can compare blue skies and end is forever to this are stupid. i can understand wanting to go a different direction..but mission unsuccessful.. PS.. i saw them last sunday at a small club on long island and they were amazing.. didnt touch this album at all.. at this point i think all ataris fans can just forget this crap was ever made..

This album was recorded 100% analog and if you listen to it with headphones you can hear the wonderful panning and separation and 'rawness' of the recording. I wasn't a big fan initially; however, after about 5 listens I realized there was something VERY special here...Better than 'Astoria'???? Hmm, real fucking close, love 'em both.

people ether got it or didnt get the "welcome the night" sound, To me its a totally underated album, it sounded more mature, but as a big ataris fan i think whatever kris dose it will b awsome, But please listin 2 welcome the night with head phones and a spliff
