also the third baseman calls of the shortstop if he can field the ball. His momentum is going towards first, instead of the shortstops which is going towards third.

@AyoStainFTW yea im a shortstop for my varsity team and i let the 3rd baseman call me off for alot of inbetween slow rollers that are easier for him to charge and let him make a straight throw to 1st instead of me having to charge it myself and force a bad off balance throw
