  • Thats an expensive way to mow down some trees.

  • lol.,.,country.,.,.,.,

  • Great video.. It's amazing footage.

  • We were young soldiers sent there by our country.....I hope the Vietnamese people can understand that. As a soldier I thought the people wanted our help. Unfortunately many saw us as invaders to their country and fought us as the viet cong. Seems our politicians did not learn anything from this war. Many in Iraq and Afghanastan see us as invaders and fighting our troops.

  • @devilsog123451 ur a dumass there was 50000 american deaths vs 3 million vietnamnese deaths which where mostly unarmed civilians

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 america didnt actually 'lose' they lost 60,000 and vietnam lost 4 million so id say vietnam wasn't very sucssesful

  • @binoculord LOL, I haven't read that, but I'm not surprized if the north did say that. The management of the war by people who were so highly educated that they treated the generals as if they were idiots with no understanding of history. Consequently they disregarded most if not all advice and proceeded to conduct a proper political war. Our politicians against your politicians. The North Vietnamese must have laughed long and hard over that approach.

  • @gerry301 I read that the north themselves said that if certain ground units had moved on hanoi they gave themselves 2 weeks until they would have been over run.

  • @5eurocups2005 The B-17 or B-24 may be a more apt comparison.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 Had the US been allowed to bomb military barracks, airfields, SAM sites, in and around Hanoi and Haiphong or along the Chinese border, from the beginning the war would have been over in a year. Add to that the right to pursue the enemy into its sanctuaries in Laos and Cambodia, and wallah end of war.
