Astronomers are investigating the connection between the supermassive central black holes and their galaxy hosts. The next generation of telescopes on the ground and in space will provide valuable clues as to what happened when the universe was young.
Great presentation - thanks for the effort. Black holes are so contrary to our everyday existence they boggle the brain. But it does make me wonder if one day we might be able to use them to aid transportation. Not extra-dimensional stuff, but just their tidal forces in deep space - to boost our vehicles along and perhaps cut down on interstellar transit times.

The short time it takes for a dying star to form into a black hole fascinated me though, I had no idea it was so quick.
Unfortunately though you've chosen my favourite genre of music, and because it was so loud I found it difficult to listen to your voice at times. Great video!
