My point is while the Tea Party has said actual racist things Wright has said some semi-offensive things but none of them are overtly racist.

How about naming a single overtly racist thing Wright said. Yes what he said were crazy "AIDS was created to kill blacks" and "United States of KKK" but that's not racist that's just a bad way of saying the US is racist against blacks.
Nothing Wright said even comes close to Tea Party "Leaders" using the N-word.
