Spyglass [v 1.2] - features (an iPhone application)

Spyglass - digital and fun augmented reality tool.

Turn your iPhone into a digital spyglass with heads-up display (like in airplanes or sci-fi movies) that in real-time shows you a compass, GPS information and a horizon tilt right over the live feed from the built-in camera or a map.

Looking through the Spyglass works with any orientation in a three-dimensional space. Tilt or rotate the device while looking through it and see the available, live information about the direction you are looking at.

*** IMPORTANT NOTES ***

The compass feature is only available for the iPhone 3GS. For other devices a simplified HUD is displayed.

The GPS feature is only available for the iPhone 3GS and 3G. The GPS information is displayed upon its availability.

Maps require access to the Internet. Maps can be enabled or disabled using "Info" screen. When disabled no Internet access is needed.
