Occupy Harvard Teach-In #1 12/7/2011 "Fear and Power" Brad Epps, Professor of Romance Languages & Literatures and Department Chair for Studies in Women, Gender, and Sexuality, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University
When afraid of the consequences an action might have, do you fear it as much as the alternative?
Voicing a fear can allow some perspective & to seek the support. Sharing can be a chance to identify them - think some in the room had never considered it before. It can be a useful diversion...
But it does bugger all about the fear.
So, for anyone anywhere about fear in general and about the fears that they have - what are you going to do?
