A limit will be introduced so that Local Housing Allowance does not exceed:£250 a week for a one bedroom property (including shared accommodation)

£290 a week for a two bedroom property

£340 a week for a three bedroom property

£400 a week for a four bedroom property

  • Used to be a good place but now it is like so much of the SE suburbs a DUMP

  • yuppies

  • dey forgot favourite chickarn

  • I reckon it's no different to most other parts of London - generally okay but some dodgy people lurking in dark corners. It all comes from the estates of course. Oh for a world without council estates.

  • I lived in London road, horniman grange next to sainsbury's for 12 years....good old times )

  • I loved this, especially the 50s style commentary. Just like Balham gateway to the south.

  • I've lived in Manor Mount for a couple of months... Loved it!

  • Haha! Loved the style and commentary of the film. Forest Hill, for all the size of it, does have a distinctive character and I liked this nostalgic rendition even if I am a relative newcomer to the 'village'. Maybe a 'day' around Horniman gdns and the museum could provide equally entertaining footage, then an evening tour around all our many splendoured eating and drinking establishments. Well done to whomever was involved in making this; it's good!

  • How could you miss out Favourite Fried Chicken?? If you are even vaguely polite to the staff there, they treat you like a king.
