I love this song. I'm not even joking. I hear it in my head AS I'm typing even now! So my obsession with this song sparked the idea of putting Thumbelina to this piece (because of the mention of Fairies, etc...) I loved Thumbelina when I was little, so making this movie has rekindled that love for the story.
In case you can't understand the words, the lyrics are actually lines from Shakespear's A Midsummer Night's Dream about "tripping away", "fairies stray" "make no Stay" and all that good stuff (it's actually quite lovely...the song AND play).
A note on the credits. Not as funny as I usually go, but the incredible thing is that I didn't make ANY changes to the footage but it matched up with the song "happy feet remix" perfectly! Watch the beetles with their time-steps. It's amazing how it just fell in harmony with the music.
Enjoy!

If we shadows have offended, think but this; and all is mended that you have but slumbered here while these visions did appear.

We got this album years ago for free as a part of a special offer. Since I was 8 years old I've been listening to this song. It's absolutely beautiful.

@daenuvo Here's what Baz Luhrmann had to say about NUTBOD:
"Houseboats of Kashmir Mix is more than just a remix of the original NUTBOD; it is almost another song, and in a way I think it captures a lot of the feel and colour of our Hindu version of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream that won the Critics Prize in Edinburgh in 1994. When we designed and developed this production in Rajistan, the poetic magic of Hindu mythology made a lasting impression on us."
