Keeping You Here episode 08

I sat on the beach, wondering how everything was back in the LA while Daren sat behind me with his arms around me. "How's LA?" He asked me as I leaned back against his chest with a smile.

"it's weird as the usual." I said as he took my hand. I was in love with this guy. "how's life here?"

He sighed. "it's the same, I guess. Coming out here to ride some waves. And missing my girl." He tighten his grip on my hand. "Just waiting for summer to come so I can see her." I looked up at him and kissed him softly. We started to makeout on the sand. So romantic. Well until we got interrupted by his little cousin. Daren sat up and helped me up. "Can I help you?"

"Why were you just eating her face dar?" I giggled as he chuckled at his little cousin.

"you'll find out in high school."

"no I won't. Girls have cooties!!" He said, running away. We just started laughing so hard.

"Apparently I have cooties." I said while walking on the beach with Daren.

"Well I wouldn't care. I'm with the girl that I love. That's all that matters." I smiled at him and pushed him away. "I'll race you back to the house." He said and I started running. The beach house was about a mile away. Once I got there, I saw a black truck. I just stood there shocked. It was Nick's. Daren ran up and hugged me. "Got cha babe!" I laughed. I guess he saw the car because he quickly released. "Who's here?" he whispered. We suddenly saw Nick coming from behind the house. "hi."

"hey." Nick said as he ran down the steps.

"What are you doing here?" I said with a blank face. Nick took me in his arms. I pushed him away. "Answer me. What are you doing here?"

"Well I wanted to stay with you. I'm not going to let my girlfriend stay here by herself." I could feel Daren looking at me.

"I'm not your girlfriend nick. Just drive home. You have class tomorrow." I turned to Daren. "Let me change and we could go to dinner." Daren smiled and nodded.

"Wait. Who's this?"

"Daren. I'm Selena's friend." Daren held his hand out but I pulled back. "And you are?"

"Nick. I'm her new boyfriend." Daren chuckled at nick's response. "What's so funny cool guy?"
