thiis was my kentucky show, only me nd one other girl from my barn showed =] so, in the video, is the hunter derby (no savvy was not in it, he almost was tho!!!!) and stuff thats not that is me and Savvy and me and this horse i rode at the show Cassay. No real placings, but it was still good show, i learned alot =]

HELP!'- i have a show next weekend and i just switched barns and the horse i ride i dont know if he will be scared of the flowery jumps and the decorations. what should i do? there is a warm up before the show where we get to jump around but if he is way too scared to jump the jumps what should i do? im kinda nervous cause i dont want to fall off if he refuses. what should i do? thanks (:

@grayponylove Just ride like you know how to ride, and sit deep with a lot of leg if you know he might be scared. If he's scared, you HAVE to be not scared, you have to be confident! Then he'll feel how confident you are and hopefully become less scared!

Thats what happened to me and ever sine last summer i loved ridding for it is an amazing sport. I always take the risk when i get on because you never know how the horse will ack when your on it

@HunterChampion68 thanks. i just jjumped him yesterday 2'8 and it was narrower and set on cones. he kept refusing and i almost fell off like 5 times just cause of that. and then my trainer gave me a crop and i gave him a tap with it and we tried it again. he jumped it but barely. he refused a few more times later just cause i forgot to add leg sit up and ride him over the fence. but he was a superstar for putting up with me. but in the end we got it really well and we finished the course. (:
