dont worry, we face the exact same thing w/ the moro communities about "authenticity" even though we are all from the same tribes and we all are katutubos. all i gotta say is that the real cultural enemies are out there...the folk dance companies who have and continuously exotify, bastardize, and misrepresent us katutubos and our culture on stage. we katutubos need to come together and end 50yrs of folk dance misrepresentation! thank you ina-i for blessing kamalayan that day. sugod katutubo!
