Bravo.

  • there is one thing i don't like from them (before you start attacking me or judging my comment, just gonna say they played it wonderful!) except, there's almost no communication between them, which is basic in chamber music, they look at each other very few, and their bow hits are very different, comparing all of them, which provokes very different sounds for each instrument and don't really melt into each other, still, well done!

  • @alexwonglk smartie ;)

  • Awesome performance: technically jaw-dropping! But in terms of interpretation I feel that it's far too... Hispanic. They play it as if it was written by a Spanish composer for example, with too much "swagger", and I think they make it sound a lot more "jaunty" than Shostakovich intended. I don't feel the pain coming across, compared to, say, the Borodin Quartet :)

But the performance and their ability are excellent!

Enhorabuena chavales.
