  • @EnigmaHood you suck, the game is exelent, only a cod fanboy could say duke forever is bad

  • @slugzkea Lol don't predict the game... I made that comment 2 years ago, and now that it came out, it really does suck. I couldn't care less about the graphics, the game is a failure in every respect imaginable.

  • @EnigmaHood Also, the only version that's decent is the PC version..nevermind the other platforms.

  • @EnigmaHood Don't predict the game until you've tried it. I downloaded Duke Nukem Forever before I bought it. If it was good I was going to buy it and I did. Yes, the graphics are primitive. But other than that I enjoyed the game and I'm just happy it got released already. Multilplayer ain't bad either, Great classic Arcade-style fun!

The only thing that I really don't like is the lack of dedicated servers on multiplayer...those listen servers lag because a lot of people have crappy machines.

  • L4D's Graphics Engine.

  • Photo realistic levels! Photo realistic guns! Photo realistic...prospectors? And Photo realistic...dumpster trucks?

  • its out -.-

    starting download now

  • @JPstupidS It, unfortunately, was all pre-set scripts and maps and not an actual game. But I do think this would have been a nice way to bring some belief that the game was coming soon.

  • @DevilMaster old post but i think i should note anyway: Quake2 in 1998 PCs needed a day, but id software (and other companies) used much faster non-PC UNIX-based systems for these tools and the visibility calculator was written in a way that could be run in multiprocessor systems and could do partial calculations. Most PC-based toolsets never took advantage of these features because common PCs (and Windows) back then didn't had multiple processors or cores.

  • they had physics on the q2 engine, thats pretty cool! they should have released this version, would have been the first game with physics on it waay before ut2003 and hl2
