Some bios, Makuta Arternix was a powerful genaral who conquered many lands and was the makuta who kill many of toa Ionix's friends. He and toa Ionix are mortal enemys.

Makuta Artadax was once a skadi(piraka speices) but was mutated by Makuta Mutran and be came a makuta. Artada later mutaded himself to have the power of ice and wears the mask of sup-zero, which alows him to freze poeple instantly.

Makuta Raman was once an avrage makuta but was mutated be the waters of karda nui. he later joined makuta Artadax and Arternix in there team of makuta.

Toa Drakus is a shadow toa how was assigned to makuta Arternix. He is unlike eny shadow toa before him. he has full control of his element which made him the leader of the army of shadow toa.

Makuta Vultraz was once shadow matoran Vultraz, but thanks to the same teachnology that turned Mazeka into a toa of shadow turn Vultraz into a full flege makuta. In order to turn a matoran in to a makuta they first have to be a shadow matoran and be in contact with a makuta stone and a specil divice that Mutran made to turn a shadow matoran into a makuta, if the matoran is normal he/she will become a shadow toa with a free will. Enyways Vultraz and Mazeka are now even in power. Vultraz has joined Makuta Arternix's team and is a most powerful team mate
