This is an EFP project that I worked on for my BRC 235 class. I play the part of both the judge and the dead body...freaky, huh? To give credit where credit is due: The song is Long Black Veil, and the name of the group is The Chieftains. Let me say something about the quality so everybody knows. We shot this with DV Cam, which is very good quality. Well, with good quality comes a HUGE file. So, in order to fit it on Youtube, I compressed it to an AVI file that's only 87 MB. (The original DV Cam file was 700+ MB) So that's why the quality is terrible.

Of course you can...I recommend music videos as the place to start, because for the most part it doesn't require capturing audio in the field. You just have the song that you play under the video like in this one

What is that subliminal message flashing across the screen?

it's not a subliminal message...it says unrendered. What happened was that where it says that- it's supposed to be a transition like a dissolve or a fade. However, to upload a video here on youtube, you need to compress it...and in doing so, I lost the transitions and a lot of visual quality...hence why it looks so grainy.
