@willpheonix I have been off line for some time so here is a delayed answer. First make sure the background colour is on white or whatever other colour you wish. Go to 'Image' scroll down to Canvas Size. Add the extra area to the figures in the boxes. This should give you a coloured border.

@JimTBell ok that was awesome thank you so much

Thats great if you want to down size your picture but how do you add more canvas space to your picture? Not increasing the actual size of the picture, just the canvas its on.

Go up to 'Image' down to 'Canvas Size'. Note the sizes shown and add the amount to the 'width' and 'height'. Note: Before you do anything make sure the colour you want on the surrounded area is the colour in the foreground box at the bottom of the tool box.

When I Free Transform Wight and Height are in % I want it to be in cm, How?
magic666z 1 year ago
@magic666z When you use free transform you are altering the size by percentages. If you want to use measures set your crop in inches or millimetres you should crop using the cropping tool and set your sizes. Don't forget to set the resolution

@magic666z Further to my last reply. If you are using cm permanently you can set Photoshop preferences to suit your purpose. With Photoshop open scroll up to the top and click on 'Photoshop', scroll down to 'preferences', down to 'Units' and 'Rulers'. In the 'Rulers' box select CM.
