I'm agree with you. It's a shame. They cut also the part where Plummer's name was announced. And Meryl's video is cut at the beginning... where is the standing ovation in both clips??!

Oh my God people are so fucking ignorant. Jonah Hill could have given the best fucking performance in all of movie history and they still wouldn't have liked him getting nominated. Just because he does a lot of comedies doenst mean hes not allowed to win an Oscar. Biased bastards.

I saw him as Barrymore in the late 90s in NY -- I was just a kid then -- my parents took me. He's definitely a man for the stage; I have also been watching scenes from The Tempest uploaded onto youtube and other sites; the stage displays his physical presence, strength and vocal power much more than the screen ever does. Just goes to show you can retain virility well into older age
