Built in 1999. Pyrex glass, steel, brass, graphite pistons. Alcohol burner built into the base. No mechanical connection between the power piston and the displacer piston which makes it a Ringbom Stirling engine. The displacer piston is made from an aluminum cigar tube. All moving parts can be seen through the clear glass. Very cool! Pyrex beaker with water is used for cooling.

  • Very nice craftsmanship, sir. I expect that it required much time and effort to make the engine run so smoothly. Well done.
