@jasrollo Place a glass coverslip in front of your target/collector, and look at what's collected under a microscope. You will be able to see instantly if you have fibers or beads or beaded fibers.

@embryonique How can you tell when the mixture is electrospinning and not electrospraying?

@pajxtshiab It all depends on your material and solvent. Have you tried stirring it continuously for a few days? Generally if it has settled for too long it won't electrospin well because the solution is no longer homogeneous. Some solutions (especially natural materials with aqueous solvents) are only good for up to ~1 week, while others are better after stirring for a few days (at least overnight) to be fully dissolved and homogeneous.

That looks great. I've been electrospinning too but I have issues with keeping the polymer solution non-viscous. If I make the polymer solution and leave it out for a day or two and then try to electrospin, I don't get as good results. Any suggestions on how to store it or does it work better to electrospin the same day the solution is made?

muy bien, gracias

how fast was the syringe being pushed? and what is the inner diameter of the needle?
Cool video!!!!Good Resolution! What is the applied voltage that you are using??
