The Olympian gods didn't decide to overthrow Cronus, the was a prophecy that said his children would overthrow him. So he eat 2 of his children (Poseidon and Hades) and was fed a rock in place of Zeus (tricked of course) and Zeus grew up and killed his father, then saved his brothers. But, because their father was immortal, he didn't actually die. He was chopped to bits and sent to the pits of Tartarus.

@edwardschlosser1 they didn't have cocaine back then, the man would have probably spent the money (drachma i think was the currency) on wine. And if a man did that, sucks for the family; he must of been irresponsible to begin with. If he was caught with the "hooker", maybe the woman's parents got the money back, perhaps?

The Titans were the earlier inhabitants before the Greeks.
The 3 main gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades) were born from the Titan god (or king) Cronus.
Demigods are half mortal and half god.
wine was the most popular Greek drink, most likely red wine.
