WOW that is great everyone together haveing a geat time wish i was there great video i just started this year making my maple syrup down here in canada not looking to get that much but just a gallon would be geat going to try to make them hotdogs also ....so you say that when temperature is about 220 it is ready?

can you make maple syrup on your stove? Is it nessesary to have one of these sugar houses if your looking to make it in much smaller amounts?

Gees, I cant even identify a maple tree, whats one look like? lol

you can use your stove, but it takes quite a while and you have to keep your eye on it while it boils down. if it boils over onto your stove and floor, its not fun to clean up. t

Down south its an epidemic because it never reaches freezing long enough to kill them buggers... I dont think you would have that problem where you are though

Another show idea, growing shitake mushrooms, have you ever done it? Theres some videos on it but not too helpful... Like ideas? I have a bunch lol

doesn't cooking hotdogs in the sap taint the finished product ? and can you still label your product as 100% maple syrup ?

I've been dying to try to make some of my own maple syrup even just a bottle...but i don't know the process and i know that you can't gather the sap from any kind of maple right?

Oh and when is the right time to gather the sap anyway?
